About the Property Loveday Belgravia
44 bed luxury hospitality driven residential nursing care.
Set over 7 floors, the property will cater to residential nursing care, memory care, respite and rehab/recovery.
Scope
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Care Coordinator to join the Loveday team. This role involves overseeing the management of a specific floor, department or area reporting directly to the Deputy Manager with regards to all areas of resident care. He or she will manage his or her area by example, being visible, involved and accessible at all times. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; training Care Assistants for their department, facilitating induction, dealing with the team member recognition, one-to-one meetings, yearly performance reviews and ongoing coaching and counselling of team members.

Main duties and Responsibilities
Co-ordinate the member assessment process, ensuring involvement of the resident in identifying needs and preferences, and integration of all information into the care plan.
Ensure that all relevant information in respect of each member is communicated as appropriate to achieve delivery of person-centered approach.
Champion the organization's vision and values, adopting an open and approachable management style supporting person-centered care.
Actively support and implement effective Infection Prevention and Control measures.
Complete all allocated one-to-one meetings and yearly performance reviews with staff in the department.
Ensure that all staff go through the Loveday induction programme, completing the necessary paperwork and providing evidence of completion through hands-on monitoring and support.
Ensure appropriate staff allocations and completion of daily assignments.
Participate in and facilitate, when appropriate, the companys training programmes and structured induction programme, ensuring all your staff are well inducted and trained to the necessary standards.
Regularly communicate to family members with regards to member needs and progress.
Report staff absence to Deputy Manager and complete Return To Work forms
Administer and safely manage and audit medication
Conduct and oversee effective handovers between all shifts, ensuring that the Care Services Manager is kept fully informed at all times with regards to applicable areas.
Assume responsibility for Health and Safety compliance within your specific area at the home.
Provide daily coaching and support to Care Assistants as needed, leading by example at all times.
Develop and execute daily programming for members focusing on person centered activities.
Key accountabilities

Facilitating ongoing training and educational opportunities for staff and families.
Have existing knowledge and constantly learning about the most current information on Dementia.
Qualifications:
A Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification or working towards.
Eligibility
