Job Title: Site Engineer (Groundworks & Utilities)\nLocation: Euston, London, NW1\nDuration: 8 Months+\nRate: £320/day (Inside IR35, PAYE)\n\nRole Overview:\n\nWe are currently seeking a Site Engineer for a project based in Euston, London. This role will support construction and engineering operations within the Southern Region, with a strong focus on groundworks, utilities, and deep drainage. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of site-based engineering practices.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSetting Out: Accurately setting out for all elements of the works (e.g., utilities, drainage, structures).\n\nUtilities/Groundworks: Delivering works involving deep drainage, water, gas, and power infrastructure.\n\nQA & ITPs: Completing Quality Assurance (QA) checks and ensuring compliance with Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).\n\nDaily Reporting: Completing daily allocation sheets, diaries, and maintaining clear, accurate site records.\n\nCommunication: Interpreting construction drawings and specifications, and clearly relaying this information to site operatives and subcontractors.\n\nSite Monitoring: Monitoring progress and ensuring work is carried out in line with project drawings, design intent, and health & safety standards.\n\nRequirements:\n\nEssential:\n\nCSCS Card (valid and relevant to role)\n\nProven experience in setting out and groundworks/utilities projects\n\nStrong understanding of QA processes and record keeping\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with site teams\n\nBeneficial:\n\nSMSTS or SSSTS\n\nConfined Space Training\n\nNRSWA Certification\n\nWater Hygiene Card\n\nUtilities Avoidance Training\n\nAdditional Information:\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established project with a collaborative team culture.
