We're on the lookout for a Chef de Partie to work in one of Oxford's most prestigious colleges on an ongoing temporary basis.
About the role:
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for the following duties:
1. Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in the implementation, auditing, recording, and document control of the Food Safety Management system.
2. Demonstrating the department's high standards of personal presentation and behaviour at all times.
3. Promoting and demonstrating a positive attitude to teamwork, contributing to the smooth running of the department.
4. Providing cover in all kitchen production areas.
5. Assisting with stock rotation, stock control, and stock take procedures under the direction of the Head Chef or Sous Chefs.
6. Assisting with the receipt of deliveries of goods and the storage of goods if necessary.
About You:
Works well as part of a team, driven, able to work shifts, and able to adhere to strict timescales.
Working Hours:
Working Monday to Friday straight shifts either earlies or lates.
Pay Rate:
£17 per hour.
