Job Description
We're looking for a skilled and experienced Engineering Technician to join our team. As a highly competent and multi-disciplined engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and production equipment. With a strong understanding of electrical and control systems, you will be the go-to person for diagnosis and correction of equipment problems, maintenance of facilities, and installation of new equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out diagnosis and correction of equipment problems and maintenance of facilities and production equipment.
* Install, test, inspect, and commission new electrical equipment.
* Calibrate instrumentation, following training and guidelines.
* Rectify deviations in fixed wiring inspection and testing, and DSEAR compliance.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and improve maintenance procedures, in compliance with GMP.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers on issues and tasks.
* Provide feedback on engineering tasks, including root cause analysis and outstanding issues.
Technical Skills:
* Proficient in using WORKMATE, EDMS, BEAMEX, DRAWING DATABASE, and MICROSOFT OFFICE.
* Understanding of control of change, safety and risk assessment, and waste handling systems.
