We have an excellent opportunity available for a Legal Secretary, to join a top 50 UK law firm with a heritage of 160 years, working within their Residential Development team. This offers a salary of £28,000 to £32,000 - plus there is some wiggle room for the right person.
Hybrid working is available once you have successfully completed their training and passed your three-month probation period.
As the Legal Secretary, you will be based at their Cambridge office, which has been in the heart of Cambridge since 2008 and is a short walk from Cambridge train station. You could also work in their Norwich office if you prefer this location, whichever is better for you. In this role, you will have the chance to support a team of experienced lawyers on high-profile property transactions across the UK.

Responsibilities:
1. Document production including drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents.
2. Audio typing including transcribing dictation with speed and accuracy.
3. Diary and inbox management, scheduling meetings, appointments, and handling correspondence.
4. Client and case management, including liaising with clients, processing property searches, and maintaining case files.
5. General administration support such as file management, expense processing, and coordinating reports.
Minimum Requirements:
1. To live within a reasonable distance of their office in either Cambridge or Norwich.
2. Previous experience working in a property, or conveyancing, or real estate, legal team.
3. Strong IT skills to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
4. Audio typing experience with fast, accurate typing is essential, ideally 50+ words per minute.
5. Excellent organisation and communication skills, with a proactive, team-focused approach.
