Manage Physical Security systems Fences, lighting, locks, CCTV, access control systems, alarm monitoring. Offer expertise in situations relating to terrorism, risk and crisis management and business operations. Ensure workplace violence, theft and other security related incidents are investigated and reported thoroughly. Monitor and audit all bodycam footages to ensure they fall in line with trust policy and procedures. Ensure the Security Budget is managed efficiently. To monitor and ensure that all Security training is up to date and documented. To ensure that all security Health & Safety Risk Assessments are up to date. Provide Security Assurance reports, attend all meetings relating to Security Assurance and present reports. To Develop local solutions to security issues To be one of the primary point of contacts for staff and the police. Work closely with NHS local counter fraud specialists on incidents requiring joint working/or assurance. Provide security advice and expertise to senior managers including directors and executive directors to ensure the trust meets its statutory obligations in respect to Security Management. Completion of security rosters ensuring that the service is fully covered. Parking To ensure the delivery of a first class, patient, visitor, and staff focussed parking service. To ensure that any investigations into financial irregularities are undertaken promptly in line with procedures. To order and maintain new equipment as required. To ensure the routine maintenance of pay and display machines as required. To constantly review and modify the parking service in line with changing priorities and circumstances within the Site, ensuring the most effective provision of service possible, according to the individual circumstances prevalent at any time. To participate in the recruitment and selection of Parking Services staff as required To ensure that a process is in place that manages staff parking permit applications, appeals, and regular review to ensure that staff still meet the criteria to have one in line with policy. To line manage a facilities officer who manages the staff car park permit process as well as the Trust ID Cards Production and Swipe Access Facilitation. Grounds Ensure processes are in place so that the Grounds Supervisor maintains service records for all vehicles and equipment used by the grounds staff. Ensure records are kept for all staff who are permitted to drive UPHNT vehicles. If required, driving all of the vehicles used by the UPHNT and related organisations within the legal limits of the licence groups held. To ensure grounds staff are trained in all health & safety procedures related to their roles. To ensure that any on-site contractors are monitored.
