Van Sales Merchandiser Representative About the Role We’re looking for an energetic Van Sales Merchandiser Representative to champion an exciting product line-up and bring well renowned quality products straight to customers This role offers the chance to build meaningful customer relationships, actively drive sales, and ensure that products are front and centre in the retail and foodservice sectors within your assigned area. Cultivate strong, productive partnerships with customers, driving sales targets and staying competitive in the marketplace. Achieve sales and returns targets aligned with company objectives, ensuring steady growth and progress. Oversee promotional campaigns, new product launches, and provide valuable feedback to management on market trends. Identify and secure new business while nurturing existing relationships. Elevate customer service standards by managing merchandising, optimizing shelf space, and addressing issues efficiently. Participate in weekly team meetings, sharing insights on sales trends and competitor activity. Guide and support new Van Sales representatives, fostering a confident and skilled team. Align team objectives with company policies and standards, including Health & Safety guidelines. Provide regular updates to the Field Sales Manager on team progress and key initiatives. Drive growth to meet company targets and foster long-term customer loyalty. Secure new business opportunities and enhance current relationships. Consistently achieve KPIs related to margins, sales returns, customer satisfaction, and product range. Skills & Experience A proven ability to meet sales goals with a customer-focused approach. Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to execute strategies effectively. Passion for the food industry and a keen understanding of consumer trends. Proficient in computer applications and familiar with internal systems. A motivating team leader and clear decision-maker. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Requirements A valid driving license. At least three years of team management experience in field sales. Strong background in the FMCG sector with commercial acumen. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
