Hours: 9-6 Monday to Friday
We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our team in Blackpool and provide essential support to our Business Manager. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily business activities and supporting our team to achieve our goals.
You will also be required to travel to London for company events and training.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Business Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, ad-hoc business tasks and more.
* Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations as required.
* Maintain accurate records and files through our online CRM system, ensuring information is organised and easily accessible.
* Handle emails and enquiries, providing timely and professional responses.
* Coordinate and facilitate internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
* Assist in the preparation and coordination of company events, conferences, and workshops.
* Conduct research and collect data to support decision-making processes.
* Manage office supplies, inventory, and equipment, ensuring everything is well-maintained and stocked.
* Support the Business Manager in special projects and ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role, providing support to senior executives or management.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
* Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to quickly learn new software or tools.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and proactively.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
* Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and build positive relationships.
