liveArgyll is a charity that operates leisure and sport facilities, libraries, museums, halls and community centres across Argyll and Bute. We are seeking individual's with energy, drive and passion to join our operations team as Leisure Assistant - Lifeguard's.
As a Leisure Assistant - Lifeguard you will provide a helpful and friendly service to customers by ensuring safe, accessible and clean facilities. This will require successfully undertaking organised tasks and activities that include pool supervision (NPLQ essential), facility preparation, cleaning and housekeeping, setting up/dismantling equipment, cash handling, record keeping, receiving deliveries, assisting and carrying out venue tours, overseeing general safety and behaviour of public and contractors, carrying out emergency evacuation procedures & safety checking, opening and closing venues safely & responsibly.
The successful Candidates will also be upskilled in reception to undertake such tasks as answering the telephone, selling memberships, taking bookings on the leisure management system, dealing with general customer enquiries, etc.
You will be required to work as part of a team stationed at Helensburgh Leisure Centre, however there may be a requirement for you to work flexibly between all venues within the Helensburgh and Lomond geographic area.
These are Permanent position's working 37hrs per week on a pre arranged Rota, which includes Early shifts, Late shifts along with Weekend working.
