Our Very Sheltered Services are Development-based and provide enhanced provision to support adults with varying needs including physically disabled, learning disabilities, older adults and vulnerable adults in their own homes to live as independently as they are able with a responsive service adapting to their housing support plans.

About You
Essential
* A genuine passion for helping people.
* Able to demonstrate Hanover Scotland values in Inclusion, accountability, respect, collaboration.
* Ability to relate empathetically to people and recognise their right to choose and independence.
* Willing to work towards an SVQ and registration with SSSC.
* Ability to work flexibly and as a lone worker on site, covering a 24-hour shift pattern.
* Able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently.
Desirable
* 1 year experience in care or housing setting.
* SVQ level 2 or above and be willing to work towards an SVQ 3.
* Demonstrated commitment and ability to undertake care practice in accordance with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) code of practice, National Care Standards, Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care and Hanover's policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
This Permanent Support Worker – Rosemount Court, Carluke role involves working on a 6 week rolling rota, 35 hours per week, covering various shifts, including sleep overs. This rota is a rolling rota to support a work life balance. You will be working as part of a team to ensure that services are delivered flexibly, innovatively and in a dignified, safe and stimulating way.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop and adapt the service as required to accommodate the different needs of customers.
* Provide in partnership with your manager the smooth effective delivery of housing management service.
* In the absence of your manager, manage the delivery of Catering service that adheres to Environmental Health regulations.
* As a lone worker, you ensure that the building is effectively managed to ensure the safety and security of our residents.
* Partnership working with the Communications Department to help with all aspects of customer services.
* Contribute and support the delivery of the Care Strategy to achieve the strategic objectives of Hanover which are Happy Customers, Desirable Home, and Resilient Organisation.
