Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to take up the exciting post of International Projects Assistant.
The International Projects Assistant will play an instrumental role in the successful delivery of international projects and in supporting international students throughout their studies at Edinburgh College. The successful applicant will have strong administrative and customer service skills, be comfortable leading and presenting to groups, possess a high level of attention to detail and a flexible approach to work.
The role will be responsible for assisting with arrangements and supporting with the delivery of international projects, leading groups on excursions, providing administrative support across the International team and dealing with international student enquiries and frontline student support.
The successful candidate will be educated to SCQF Level 8 or equivalent. They will have strong organisational skills, an empathetic approach to customer service, be able to take initiative and prioritise workload effectively. The successful candidate will also possess strong communication, IT and administrative skills, with the ability to work as part of a team. A strong interest in working with customers from culturally diverse backgrounds is essential.
