Our busy and reliable Payroll Team are a key part of this, working together to provide comprehensive payroll service to colleagues across the Society. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Systems Consultant to join our team, based at our Support Centre in Lincoln. In this role, you will support the Payroll Manager and Payroll Team Leader to oversee a team processing multiple 4-weekly payrolls, ensuring all payroll deadlines are met. You will also be the SME on iTrent Payroll, supporting the existing Project team to develop confidence and competence and ready for go live which will include all aspects of the system and configuration. Your role will involve (but is not limited to): Supporting with the implementation of the iTrent payroll system, including timelines, resources and deliverables to ensure successful deployment. Providing support and guidance throughout UAT phases and parallel runs. Creating and communicating process flow documents to the wider project team relating to future payroll BAU. Supporting with the migration of data from legacy systems to iTrent, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Maintaining the iTrent payroll system alongside the payroll team, ensuring it is up-to-date and running smoothly, by performing regular system checks and updates. Providing technical support to users, troubleshooting system issues and resolving problems promptly. Developing and delivering training programs for colleagues on using the iTrent payroll system effectively. Please see the attached job description to find out more. This is a fixed term position for up to 3 months. INDHP About You We’re looking for an honest, reliable, and motivated person who has a keen eye for detail and dependable organisational skills. If you have at extensive experience within a fast-paced payroll function using a market leading payroll application for medium to large organisations, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll need to show us: An understanding of Payroll processes and practices – particularly end to end processing, statutory payments, RTI, new colleagues. Payroll parallel run support with a good understanding of payroll and absence calculations within iTrent. Extensive knowledge on Security – data access, roles, and function access. Full knowledge of system administration responsibilities to ensure audits, users reporting, and support is in place for go live. Experience of Rostering with iTrent is desirable but not essential. Preferably, the successful candidate will hold a payroll qualification or be AAT qualified.
