Why You Should Apply : Salary : £50,000 - £55,000, depending on experience Career Development : Be part of a rapidly expanding company with opportunities for career growth Benefits : 21 days holiday bank holidays, company pension, and ongoing training opportunities Key Responsibilities : Managing Tenders : Oversee and manage multiple electrical tenders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Client Communication : Act as the lead contact with clients, ensuring all requirements are met and queries are addressed Site Surveys : Conduct site surveys and reviews to gather all necessary data for pricing estimates Prepare Pricing Estimates : Prepare detailed and accurate pricing for labour, materials, and subcontractor work Risk and Value Engineering : Identify and evaluate potential risks while providing value engineering options to maximize cost efficiency Team Leadership : Oversee and guide the estimating team, ensuring all tenders are submitted on time and to a high standard Tender Handover : Ensure smooth project handover by preparing all necessary documentation for the project team Regular Reporting : Attend weekly team meetings and report on tender progress and workload What We're Looking For : Experience : Proven experience in electrical estimating, particularly in the residential and commercial sectors Technical Expertise : Solid understanding of electrical systems and the tendering process Software Skills : Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and estimating software Detail-Oriented : Ability to read specifications, drawings, and contracts to prepare accurate cost plans Communication : Excellent client-facing skills and professionalism Full UK Driving License Person Specification : Analytical Thinking : Good problem-solving and decision-making skills Organised : Structured, methodical, and able to manage competing demands Team Player : Collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills Calm Under Pressure : Ability to remain composed when working to tight deadlines Benefits : Company pension 21 days holiday bank holidays Ongoing training and career development opportunities If you're an experienced Electrical Estimator looking to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you
