The vacancy

Our client is seeking an experienced manager to join this growing accountancy firm. The manager will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations managing client relationships providing technical leadership and supporting junior staff.

Key responsibilities

* Managing a portfolio of clients
* Building and maintaining long-term relationship relationships and understanding clients needs
* Supervising mentoring and developing junior staff giving guidance and support on client work and professional development
* Oversee and review the preparation of financial statements tax returns and compliance with relevant regulations
* Review work produced by junior staff
* Provide advisory services to clients on accounting tax and other matters
* Assist clients with complex financial issues such as tax planning
* Assistance setting and managing departmental budgets and financial targets
* Monitoring profitability of client engagements
* Develop and implement internal processes to enhance service delivery and productivity
