Job summary
We are very excited to be recruiting a Rota Manager for the rota management Team where the rotas are written for doctors across the Trust in accordance to junior doctors contracts and the services required.
We are seeking an enthusiastic manager who has experience with doctor rotas within the NHS and is keen to lead and develop the service and team. This is an extremely busy department, which requires someone to be able to maintain performance working in a fast paced environment and deliver on important projects. Thr role will support the Guardian of Safe Working, consultants and directorate managers across the Trust.
Main duties of the job
To manage and lead a rota administration team to provide Medical Rota Management to allspecialties Trust wide.Working in conjunction with the Care Group Directors and Directorate Medical Leads, thepost holder must ensure the provision of high quality patient care by efficiently deployingjunior medical staff across all specialities, including on call, across the Urgent, Planned andNetwork will involve close liaison with junior doctors, Consultants, Medical Leads, andmanagement teams and the Trust's Medical Human Resources department. It will benecessary to have a daily overview of all junior medical staff within the care groups,anticipate problems and autonomously resolve post holder will work closely with Medical Leads to manage annual leave, study leaveand other absence whilst ensuring that clinical staffing levels are post holder will work closely with medical staffing bank and locum agencies to minimisespend on locum cover whilst ensuring safe staffing post holder will offer administration support to the Guardian of Safeworking
