Supervisor: Reactive Repairs Team Based : Home based, (Designated office: Memorial House, Coalville, Leicestershire) Regular travel required to sites across the East Midlands, and regular attendance at our head office in Coalville. Hours : 38 hours per week, working Monday to Friday Salary : £37,345 - £41,495 per annum We are looking for a skilled and motivated supervisor to join our Reactive Repairs Team at emh. You will lead a team of multi-trade operatives and contractors, delivering high-quality reactive maintenance repairs in our customer’s homes across the East Midlands, ensuring emh deliver a cost-effective service and a great customer journey. As we aim to grow the services that emh deliver internally, it is important that you are committed to continuous improvement and have a commercial awareness that ensures the repairs we deliver represent value for money. You should be an experienced people leader who is able to motivate and lead the team with trust and an output-based performance culture. You will directly line manage a team of operatives and will manage their performance and engagement, ensuring emh deliver work on time, within budget, and to the required standard. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which you will demonstrate by working closely and in conjunction with other stakeholders across the business, including our Trade Union representatives, Maintenance Planning Team, and Housing and Customer Service Teams. Emh has a co-regulation model. You will actively engage with customers to address complaints and improve service delivery. You may also participate in resident forums and scrutiny activity. As a supervisor, you will regularly travel to meet your team on sites across the East Midlands and will need to regularly attend our head office, so the ability to travel is essential. Emh currently provides supervisors with a company vehicle for business-related travel on a non-contractual basis.
