Maintenance Support Engineer – Leeming Bar

Days Based Role – Monday to Friday – 1 in 6 Saturdays
The Company – FMCG Manufacturer
Based within one of the UK’s leading specialist privately owned FMCG manufacturing companies, my client is looking to recruit an experienced maintenance support engineer to add to their engineering team. The facility in Leeming Bar has recently benefited from further investment to increase capacity. This manufacturing company is a well-established business supplying into major blue-chip manufacturers and is an extremely secure organisation.
Key Skills
* Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Experience in an Engineering Projects Environment.
* Understanding of PPM Systems within FMCG
The Role
You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules (PPM Systems), working with equipment such as packaging, conveyors, and processing machinery within a high-speed PLC controlled automated environment. In addition to this, you will have the experience and ability to work on significant breakdowns, projects & modifications, involving problem-solving tools such as root cause analysis, utilising a team of multi-skilled engineers, and have the responsibility for projects, fabrication of the building and factory services, ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of engineering planning in this high-speed food manufacturing plant.
