As Secretary to the Senior Management Team you will be responsible for providing a professional and confidential secretarial and administrative support service. Main duties and responsibilities will include: • Providing a full range of secretarial duties to the Senior Management Team including the production of confidential letters, emails, reports and presentations all to a very high standard. • Providing an efficient and welcoming point of contact for all visitors, students and staff. • Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming mail and dealing with routine correspondence. • Managing the diaries of members of the Senior Management Team. • Producing high quality minutes of meetings held within the College where appropriate. • Managing the bookings of internal meeting rooms as required. The willingness to travel and work between sites is essential and you will need a current driving licence and your own transport. Due to the nature of the role, confidentiality and diplomacy are of paramount importance, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines in a calm and professional manner. Required Skills and Experience: • Has previous experience of working in a senior secretarial role which includes minute taking • Has excellent literacy and presentation skills • Has excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines on a regular basis. • Has a confident and professional manner and is able to communicate effectively at all levels.
