We are looking for two part-time salaried GP's to join our dedicated team. Ideally for between 3-6 sessions a week but this is negotiable.
Shakespeare Road Health Centre is a 2 site GP Training Practice in Rotherham. The practice has a list size of 5,800 patients. The practice team consists of skilled, multi-disciplinary staff with 2 GP Partners, 1 Long-Term Locum GP, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 1 Practice Nurse, 2 Nurse Associates. The clinical team also includes 1 Clinical Pharmacist, 2 Pharmacy Technicians, Mental Health Nurse and a Dementia Admiral Nurse. We have a management team, a reception/administrative team who provide excellent support to the clinicians.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for two part time salaried GP's who can work with us to ensure that we continue to progress, develop and work innovatively within our diverse community. The successful candidates will be working as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population as a whole, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. The post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards of good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice.

The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
The provision of services commensurate with the GMS/PMS contract
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
Effective management of long-term conditions
Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks
Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance
