The Post The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) Tissues, Cells & Advanced Therapeutics Directorate undertakes cutting edge research and development of new cell and gene therapies. These products are manufactured in our state-of-the-art clean room facilities according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). In support of TCAT’s research, development and manufacturing activities, we offer an exciting opportunity to join TCAT as a Project Support Officer. The successful candidate will specifically be expected to work alongside the Programme/Project managers to deliver a portfolio of projects. The initial focus will be on commercially sponsored projects that are ready for technology transfer into the GMP environment for manufacture to support first-in-human clinical trials. The Candidate Educated to degree level, preferably with a background in bio/biomedical sciences, you will have demonstrable experience of project management, ideally gained within the life sciences or healthcare sector. You should be used to working with diverse stakeholders and managing competing priorities. Applications will be assessed against the criteria in the Person Specification. Location and Working Pattern: The post is full time 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
