Job Title: Manufacturing Services Technician – Electrician
(Maintenance Technician – Electrical)
Working Pattern: Full Time – Shift Working
Working location: Bristol
The Manufacturing Services Technician - Electrician is responsible for performing electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on Production & Experimental Test Beds, manufacturing assets, and all associated production equipment. You will work alongside other skilled tradesmen to provide support to the Manufacturing Services Leader and Manufacturing Services Engineers to ensure the organisation’s objectives and goals are delivered.

Shift working will be on a 4-weekly rotation. You would be expected to carry out 2 weeks of dayshift approx 0715-1545, followed by 2 weeks of afternoon shift approx 1530-2230.
Local agreements apply and can be discussed in person if successful. This does attract a shift premium.

Who we’re looking for:
To be successful in this role you will need to have a breadth of experience that you can call upon in electrical maintenance and installation work.
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent in relevant Electrotechnical time served apprenticeship.
* Current BS7671 Certificate (currently 18th Edition).
* 2391 Test & Inspect Training.
* CompEx certification scheme Ex01 – 04 is desirable and candidate will be expected to work towards certification (company funded).
* Able to work to engineering drawings, with a good understanding of Electrical Principles, Installation, and Maintenance Operations.
