We’ve got an exciting opportunity to join the team at Stowe & Aylesbury Vale, supporting the Facilities team as Senior Facilities Co-Ordinator. You’ll provide efficient, effective and flexible facilities management service across your sites, helping to ensure our properties remain safe and compliant. You'll support the operational team at Stowe by joining the duty management rota. This requires some weekend and bank holiday working, approximately 1 weekend day every 3 weeks. What it's like to work here You'll report to the Facilities Manager working in a team of 3 at Stowe & Aylesbury Vale. The beauty of Stowe and the surrounding area has attracted visitors for over 300 years and the wider portfolio includes Claydon House, a medieval tower and duck decoy at Boarstall, Long Crendon Courthouse and Buckingham Chantry Chapel. Along with the friendly team, this area is a great place to work What you'll be doing the successful operation of our portfolio of sites. You'll work collaboratively with other team members to deliver excellent standards in maintenance, presentation and customer service. You’ll collaborate with external contractors to help us keep the property well maintained and will lead a team of facilities volunteers who support us with maintenance. Working within the appropriate Trust procedures and conservation guidelines, you'll ensure your site is well maintained to a high standard at all times and will promote Health & Safety awareness across the property and for ensuring effective environmental management is sustained. Who we're looking for We'd love to hear from you if you have: • Understanding of facilities and / or building management, maintenance & provision of services, supported by relevant professional qualification or equivalent level of vocational experience). • Strong knowledge and experience of health and safety, emergency procedures, fire and security procedures and legislation • Experience of records management and information systems and good IT skills (Microsoft Office). • Ability to work as part of a team with experience of supervising others • Ability to effectively communicate at various levels, including influencing and negotiating The package The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart.
