A rapidly growing EdTech/SaaS platform is about to receive private equity backing to help fuel continued growth. The business operates internationally, selling to over 70 different countries, and have impressive EBIDTA margins which are north of 60%. As they scale, they are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer to join the executive team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the financial and operational future of a high-growth, mission-driven organisation.
Reporting to the CEO and Board, the CFO will be a key player in driving the company’s financial strategy and operational excellence. You will lead all financial aspects of the business, including strategic planning, business partnering and reporting, while ensuring alignment with the private equity stakeholders and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute the financial strategy to support rapid growth, M&A activities, and long-term value creation.
· Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting to ensure the company’s financial health.
· Serve as the primary point of contact with private equity stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with investor objectives.
· Lead financial due diligence, integration planning, and capital-raising initiatives to drive strategic growth.
· Partner with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, implement best-in-class systems, and scale operations.
· Build and mentor a high-performing finance team that aligns with the company’s mission and growth ambitions.
Key Qualifications
· Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance executive in a PE-backed organisation, preferably in the EdTech, SaaS, or technology sectors.
· Strong experience in M&A, fundraising, and working with private equity investors.
· Expertise in scaling businesses, with a deep understanding of operational and financial challenges in high-growth environments.
· Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business decisions.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
· ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent professional accountancy qualification required.
