Job Description
AECOM‘s Building Engineering division is a global network of multi-disciplinary experts delivering many of the most complex, challenging and high-profile projects across all industry sectors. As part of AECOM, they are driven to delivering a more sustainable future and this approach is embedded into all aspects of their business and projects.
The specialist Building Engineering, Business Development and Marketing (BD+M) team has a position available for 6 months maternity cover. This small team plays a central and developing role supporting the UK+I, Europe and India region. Over recent years they have established and developed Building Engineering practices by adopting and elevating the corporate brand, developing core graphic design elements, implementing new management systems and delivering innovative platforms to support the business.
The BD+M team creates a bridge between our central corporate services, wider service teams and our engineering experts, working closely with AECOM’s engineering experts to raise the profile of our services and projects.
Your Role
There is an exciting opportunity for a creative with relevant experience to provide 6 months maternity cover. The role requires an organised individual with strong skills and a creative approach. A strong team member with good communication skills, you will work with both the BD+M team and assist our Engineering teams to develop a variety of visualisations graphics and manage imagery including professional photography, photo libraries, site photography and staff photos. Under general supervision, you will need to manage production of reports, including editorial review and publication production, using our extensively developed library of content.
Additionally, you will support with the development of internal and external communications material and the development of new publication platforms, new service line marketing material and assisting with work winning activities.
Capability requirements
* Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset to deliver ideas
* Understanding of building engineering (Structural, Civil, MEP and Specialists) and architecture
* Experience in relevant graphic design and architectural visualisation
* Excellent attention to detail and driven to achieving the ‘best of the best’ and motivating others to achieve the same
* The ability to collaborate, lead projects and deliver industry leading quality
* Photography – Editing, Professional Photography, Photo Libraries, creating mood boards, advertorial photography, managing and contributing to libraries
* Visualisation/ illustration – Photo montaging, Building sections/ plans/ elevations visuals
* Graphics – developing iconography, graphs, diagrams
* New Service Development – Working with technical teams to develop new service lines, gather and develop content, and produce marketing facing content
* Communications – Gathering, editing and generating content for internal and external communications. Including digital channels
* Digital Production – UX design, website production (including: interactive graphic elements)
* Video production – Storyboarding, pre-production, editing and publication
Specific skills
* Basic in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams
* Adobe - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Animate, Acrobat (Essential)
* Sharepoint – Site development
* Figma (Desirable)
* Adobe – Premier Pro, Animate (Desirable)
* CAD – Revit, Rhino, Sketch-up (Desirable)
