Our Role As the Learning and Development Advisor, youll be the go-to person for all things L&D across Head Office and Retail the friendly face behind onboarding, training coordination, LMS support, and everything in between. What you'll be doing Employee Support & Communication Be the friendly first point of contact for all L&D questions, owning our inbox, and keeping the team calendar in check. Create and send our monthly L&D newsletter bringing learning to life across the business in a fun and digestible way. Keep our learning content organised, up-to-date and easy to find (yes, that means becoming a whiz at shared folders which we will help you with) Onboarding & Training Delivery Run the show when it comes to onboardingfrom welcome sessions to booking calendars and follow-up materials. You will have the chance to develop and deliver engaging onboarding sessions for new employees that align with The White Companys culture and values. You will own these processes for new employees end to end. Support live and digital training for new store openings, creating materials and delivering sessions to upskill retail teams, working with relevant stakeholders where necessary. Blended Learning Coordination Work with the team to integrate digital tools and resources into training programs, making sure we offer a blended learning approach via our LMS, The Development Hub. Support with making sure content is tagged, tidy, and working as it should by aiding in uploading and managing learning content as needed on the Development Hub. Program Coordination & Logistics Making Training Happen Help run our core training programmes from logistics and materials, to managing supplier bookings. Coordinate technical training sessions with flair and finesse, ensuring everything is ready to go (and looks great, too). Join key project meetings and take the lead on keeping trackers updated, actions clear, and everything moving forward. Career Development Support Provide coaching and guidance to junior employees, encouraging ownership of their development through the 70:20:10 model. Help to coordinate our apprenticeship programs, working closely with the L&D Partner (your line manager) to align with what business needs. Data & Reporting Gather and report on training data, including feedback, participation rates, and impact. Support with reporting pulling data from our LMS and surveys to help us make smarter decisions. Support the L&D team in analysing trends from this data to continuously improve their learning offering moving forward. Skills & Experience Understanding of the learning & development cycle and adult learning principles. Confidence to delivering training to others, and a keenness to try different training approaches, experience of training coordination is a plus. Familiarity with blended learning approaches and digital tools (e.g., LMS platforms). Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and make your audience feel comfortable. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; experience with a Learning Management System is a plus.
