We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Logistics Operative for our Stores Team at Hinkley Point C.
As a Construction Logistics Operative, you will play a key role in providing controlled receipt and issue of tools, materials and equipment from our stores and compounds. You will be responsible for stock check, housekeeping of stores and compounds areas and working safely in line with RAMS, DABS and HPC processes. This will be a busy role with conflicting priorities, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work with blue- and white-collar workforce. You will be part of a great team, who are supportive and friendly.

A typical day in the life as a Logistics Operative:
* Receipt & put away of incoming materials
* Controlled issue of all stores
* Stock checks
* Identifying maintenance requirements for tooling or electrical items (Calibration/ PAT/ Thorough examination)
* Housekeeping of stores and compound areas
* Ensure that HPC code of conduct is followed at all times
* Carry out any other reasonable request as required by your Line Manager
What are we looking for?
* A CITB Operative H&S test (to be completed before the start date).
* Stores experience
* Good communication skills including written, verbal & numeracy
* Strong time management skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work well with others
* ‘Can do' attitude and willingness to learn
Desirable:
* Construction Site experience
* Driving Licence
* Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Tooling and consumables
* Understanding logistics limitations and regulation
