What will I be doing?
Ensure that products meet the requirements of customers, quality standards and airworthiness authorities. Parts are inspected as per drawings, documentation, routings and required standards as defined using a variety of inspection methods and equipment during the manufacturing life cycle
1. Work in accordance with HSE legislation, the Company Operating Systems, policies and procedures.
2. Demonstrate the Company Values & Behaviours.
3. Ensure documentation/routings are completed and processed correctly in a timely manner.
4. Containment and securitisation activities for checking parts in process or in stores when required.
5. Provide cover where required when demand dictates as requested by Team Leader within the employees competency
6. Ability to set, run and program CMM inspection software and equipment
7. Experience in a range of manual inspection techniques and equipment
8. Contributes by driving and sustaining business objectives and continuous improvement within the department
9. Maintains a high standard of housekeeping at all times as set by SAFRAN
10. Utilise SHE UK's SAP system by tracking routings, data entry and produce final release documentation ensuring product is conforming to standard.
11. Input, record and analyse data in varying formats including FAI requirements, self-inspection, databases, SAP, use of Microsoft suite.
12. Adherence to SQCDPI quality requirements and improvements
13. Other tasks which, from time to time may be reasonably required to meet the needs of the business and support the department goals and objectives
