About us The CAT unit is a dynamic service assessing and treating children and young people from birth to 16 who require the expertise of the general paediatric medical/surgical teams having been referred from their GP or from Paediatric Emergency Department. The role will involve providing high quality direct patient care including a vet and Triage process for children and young people ensuring patient safety is paramount and coordinating the activity throughout the unit working closely with the medical team.
