Apprentice Field Engineer Opportunity
Location: Freightliner Terminal, M17 1FA area
Contract Type: Four-year Apprenticeship Program
Compensation Package: Commencing at £15,700 in Year 1, with annual increments up to £25,000 in Year 4, subject to performance review and approval
The Briggs Equipment Group is a prominent provider of asset management and maintenance services across the UK and Ireland.
We are currently seeking an Apprentice Field Engineer to join our team. As an Apprentice Field Engineer, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field, working alongside experienced engineers to maintain and repair complex equipment.
Throughout the four-year program, you will receive comprehensive training and development opportunities to enhance your technical skills and knowledge. You will also be part of a supportive team environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Your key responsibilities as an Apprentice Field Engineer will include:
* Maintaining and repairing various types of equipment, including industrial machinery and vehicle fleets
* Conducting site visits to assess equipment condition and identify areas for improvement
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies
* Participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills
* Providing exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders
