You will be involved in a variety of engineering projects, including:
Programming PLC control systems and configuring SCADA systems.
Working within project teams to meet customer deadlines.
Performing on-site installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
While primarily office-based, the role will require occasional travel to customer sites across Scotland and potentially overseas.
Strong background in designing and implementing PLC Control Systems across various sectors (e.g., Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Energy).
Rockwell Automation (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, RSLogix, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View).
Industrial protocols like Profibus, Profinet, and Ethernet.
Competence in producing Functional Design Specifications, schematic diagrams, software development, and hardware builds.
Experience in testing, commissioning, and conducting design reviews is advantageous.
