Salary: £50,600 depending on experience What you’ll be doing: Contribute to the overall cost performance of the UK businesses, providing enterprise-wide insights for Sectors and Functions with an annual cost of £5bn and approximately 48,000 employees Support the implementation of a Functional Cost process, driving standardised accounting and reporting to deliver key insights across Functions and Sectors Collaborate with Data & Analytics on data strategy and Tableau visuals to enhance FP&A insights Assist in capturing and coordinating FP&A Cost Performance requirements for strategic planning, supporting future finance systems (Ad Astra) Drive standardisation across all FP&A Cost Performance reporting Support communication and engagement within the wider FP&A Cost Performance function Your skills and experiences: Member of a UK-recognised professional accountancy body, with a proven track record in the FP&A domain In-depth understanding of business operations and the ability to articulate financial KPIs and metrics Proficient in using Excel for data consolidation and reporting Experience in finance management, planning, and reporting Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders across functions Familiarity with Tableau is desirable Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. The Financial Planning & Analysis Team: You will play an integral role within the FP&A Cost Performance team, helping transform and modernise cost performance processes, data, and systems across the UK businesses. You will collaborate with all Sectors and finance stakeholders, providing valuable insights and shaping the future of cost performance.
