Cpl are delighted to be working in partnership with a prestigious client, who's mission is to help provide support and care to vulnerable young people, with a focus on creating brighter futures for vulnerable children and young people aged 16 to 24 years. They provide safe supported accommodation, rehabilitation services, and assistance with employment, community integration and sustainable independent living. Your ambition for the young people you support will help them take steps to fulfilling their potential. Responsibilities Working in partnership with the staff team to safeguard young people at all times. Having overall operational responsibilities for the management of the home, including oversight of all records and personal files. Leading on the development, implementation and monitoring of the young people’s individual plans. Including liaising with the appropriate external professionals, agencies and families. Contributing to the development of the team. Empowering them to promote independence within the residential setting and wider community. Conducting individual performance and development reviews and supervisions with senior members of the care team. Support the care team to organise appropriate, exciting and engaging activities, trips and extended visits for the young people. Qualification/Experience Required: NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent At least 2 years significant management/supervisory experience (Team Leader/Senior Support Worker) in a care setting within the past 5 years at a competent level. Proven experience of working effectively with vulnerable children and young people Knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and the Quality Care Standards. Experience adhering to Ofsted regulations The salary for this position is between £60k-£80k, depending on experience.
