Capacity Planning Manager, 1 Year Fixed Term Contract

As Capacity Planning Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the long-term capacity strategy and plan for the DSP Program. In this role, you will create transparent processes, develop scalable infrastructure, and streamline capacity planning workflows. Implementing metrics and collaborating cross-functionally will be key to enhancing the organization's capacity planning capabilities. This strategic role will transform the DSP planning function to support long-term growth and scalability.
Because of the impact, this is a highly visible role with senior leaders and decision makers in Amazon operations. The incumbent will regularly lead business and planning reviews with senior operations leaders and manage relationships across a variety of stakeholders - including planning, finance, fleet, expansion, and the local country teams. It is also a highly innovative space requiring the incumbent to use a quantitative and analytical approach, balanced by business judgment to determine the capacity strategy, while constantly iterating on the process to drive improvements.

This role is open for London (LHR) and Madrid (MAD).
Key job responsibilities
1. Improve existing manual processes and automate them to be more scalable.
2. Build a scalable and logical process utilizing Amazon's internal tools such as Quicksight.
3. Support with data and reports to influence reviews with operations leaders on capacity planning.
4. Partner with stakeholders to align on changes, and be the single source of truth for DSP demand.
5. Monitor and report on the progress in capacity build and utilization.
6. Work cross-functionally across multiple operations functions to drive standards in capacity planning and management.
7. Maintain a strong focus on the DSP experience in building realistic, yet attainable capacity plans.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree
2. Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience aggregating and analyzing internal and external campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify insights
