Home Size: Maximum occupancy of 3 Young People
Reporting To: Regional Operations Manager

Nestled in the scenic landscapes of rural Staffordshire, our client's Children’s Residential Care Home provides a tranquil and supportive environment for young people facing challenges. The detached home accommodates a maximum of three young individuals and boasts a dedicated and established team.

Main Duties:
* Manage the residential home efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, procedures, policies, and the Statement of Purpose
* Support the team to achieve the highest standards of care for young people
* Lead the recruitment process, including vetting, interviewing, and inducting new employees, and focus on staff retention
* Contribute to a comprehensive team training and development programme
* Liaise with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams to meet the needs of young people
* Be accountable for regulatory compliance, including liaison with regulatory organisations
* Register with the regulator and participate in an on-call system
* Undertake any other duties required by operational managers or their authorised representatives
Job Requirements:
* A Level 5 diploma in leadership for health and social care and children and young people’s services; or equivalent; or a willingness to work towards the same
* 3 years of direct experience within a UK Residential Children’s Home
* Full manual driving licence
* Commitment to continuous professional development
