Salary: Up to £50k (negotiable & depending on experience) Overtime paid at time and a half. Location: Rickmansworth, Herts WD3. Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm - Friday 7:30am to 1:00pm. Due to the expansion of their Grinding Department, they are seeking an experienced Precision Grinder / Team Leader to join their busy and expanding engineering team on a permanent basis. About The Role: Leading the Grinding team with Setting and Operating Cylindrical and Surface Grinders, and other equipment within our busy Grinding department. Candidate Requirements: CNC Grinding (Studer (Fanuc) / Jones & Shipman) programming & setting experience an advantage. Manual Cylindrical and Surface Grinding including internal and external grinding. A good understanding of engineering drawings. Experience of leading a small team and advantage. Ability and knowledge of grinding complex parts to tight tolerances. Able to use various types of measuring equipment. Ability to work with the minimum of supervision. Experience of small / medium size batch work an advantage. Previous experience of working in a similar sub contract manufacturing environment. Good communication skills at all levels.
