SEO Specialist Job Summary
Manage a growing portfolio of clients on monthly retainers, conducting site audits, analysing performance metrics, and implementing necessary changes to ensure optimal search engine rankings. Work closely with design and development teams to create exceptional, optimised websites and compile comprehensive reports for clients.
* Oversee a portfolio of SEO clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and reporting.
* Conduct thorough SEO audits of client websites to identify areas for improvement.
* Analyse site performance using various tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) and prepare detailed reports.
* Ensure thorough optimisation of new sites prior to launch and stay updated on SEO best practices and algorithm changes to ensure client sites remain competitive.
* Compile and present performance reports to clients, highlighting key metrics and insights, and provide actionable recommendations and strategies for ongoing improvement.
* Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role in a web agency or digital marketing environment.
* Strong understanding of SEO principles, tools, and best practices.
* Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO-related tools.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive insights.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to clients confidently.
