Job Function:
To guarantee the efficient and timely procurement of high-quality equipment, goods, and services, within budget and at competitive prices, supporting seamless operational execution.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Monitor stock levels and accurately forecast product demand to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
2. Identify and secure optimal products and suppliers, ensuring best value, reliable delivery, and quality.
3. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers. Negotiate and manage contracts, continuously improving product and service quality.
4. Analyse market trends and predict their impact on future procurement activities.
5. Provide market analysis and identify potential growth opportunities.
6. Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement/purchasing plan.
7. Align suppliers with business objectives to achieve organisational targets.
8. Maintain compliance with all relevant company and regulatory standards, including food safety and health & safety.
9. Enhance employee skillsets and promote adaptability, with a focus on results-oriented relationship building.
10. Support trainee development to ensure a pipeline of future talent.
11. Ensure new product development (NPD) utilizes approved suppliers. Collaborate with NPD on sourcing and managing new ingredients.
