Hours: Aiming for a minimum of 10 per week, Mon-Fri
Pay in line with Real Living Wage – currently £12.00 per hour

Age UK Isle of Wight operates as an independent charity dedicated to serving all communities on the Island, focusing on residents aged 50 and above along with their caregivers and families. Our mission is to empower older individuals on the Isle of Wight to live fulfilling, independent lives while combating feelings of isolation and loneliness.
We are actively recruiting Support Workers for our Just About You (JAY) home help service. Our committed team of Support Workers strives to assist clients in preserving their independence and enjoying comfort in their own homes.
We offer comprehensive support throughout the island, customising our services to address the specific needs of each individual. Whether it involves helping with shopping, cleaning, meal preparation or simply providing companionship through outings for tea and cake, our goal is to ensure that clients receive the necessary assistance. Our focus is collaborating with clients to guarantee they are thoroughly supported.
If you are looking for a rewarding role that has:
* Available working hours - between 9am and 5pm
* Real Living Wage
* No weekend or evening work
* No personal care or medication administration
To be considered for this position, do you have the following:
* A cheerful and engaging personality
* Empathic, patient and non-judgemental character
* Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle during your working hours
