We are currently looking for a Fully Qualified and Experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team at our Plenmeller site based in Haltwhistle Northumberland UK, where we use Blow Moulding Technology to specialise in the production of plastic products for the consumer and chemical industry. Hours of work are 8.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday with opportunities for Overtime.
PURPOSE OF JOB
To work to the planned maintenance schedule to ensure all PPM activities are completed and documented. To assist with plant and machinery breakdowns, liaise with production and record actions. Carry out fault analysis to prevent reoccurring failures.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work safely at all times, observing site rules and practices.
2. Carry out all PPM activities as required in maintenance schedule.
3. Provide assistance when required on breakdowns to all plant and equipment.
4. Inform production/manager of timescales and any required escalations.
5. Ensure all mandatory checks are completed and recorded as scheduled.
6. Carry out predictive maintenance and effect repair when required.
7. Identify and implement any improvements to processes and machines.
8. Assist with new machine and equipment installations.
9. Carry out shop work when required (panel builds, PLC upgrades etc).
10. Complete Hazard forms and T Cards as required.
11. Carry out testing and inspection as required (PAT testing, fixed wiring etc).
12. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
13. Identify and maintain spares requirement.
