Your new role:
1. Build relationships with Finance colleagues, directors, and senior management.
2. Understand business models and their financial impact.
3. Promote Finance Business Partnering and ensure compliance.
4. Provide financial advice for proposals and tenders.
5. Support budget holders and deliver financial insights.
6. Develop financial plans and indicative budgets.
7. Guide Project Managers on budget management.
8. Manage project finances and reporting.
9. Produce financial forecasts and assist with audits.
10. Maximise stakeholder relationships and communication.
11. Support Finance team objectives.
12. Collaborate on financial reports.
What you'll need to succeed:
1. Part qualified or QBE.
2. Experience of financial reporting.
3. Ability to support with financial management.
4. Confident communicator, written and verbal.
5. Ability to take complex problems and provide simple solutions.
6. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. IT: EXCEL (essential).
What you'll get in return:
£34,000 - £43,000 annual salary.
Temp contract until June 2025.
Hybrid working.
37.5 hours per week.
Ability to gain experience of working within a public sector finance team.
