Branch Manager – Domiciliary Care Location: Brighton & Hove Salary: £32,500 - £37,500 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Branch Manager to lead our domiciliary care services in Brighton & Hove. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager looking to step up into a leadership role or an existing Branch Manager seeking a fresh challenge. As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, compliance, and growth of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care in line with CQC regulations. You will play a crucial role in leading a team, driving service improvement, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care branch, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and company policies. Lead and develop a team of care coordinators, supervisors, and care staff, fostering a culture of quality, safety, and excellence. Manage client relationships, ensuring personalised care plans meet the needs of service users and their families. Ensure the branch meets KPI targets for care hours, staff retention, and quality assurance. Recruit, train, and support staff to maintain a high-performing workforce. Conduct regular audits, spot checks, and quality assessments to uphold service standards. Work collaboratively with local authorities, NHS teams, and private clients to expand and develop the service. Handle safeguarding concerns, incident investigations, and complaints professionally and effectively. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Branch Manager within a domiciliary care setting. Strong understanding of CQC standards and compliance requirements. Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality care. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with service users, families, and external professionals. Ability to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced environment. NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it). What’s in It for You?
