The Role
To provide direct clinical care, which encompasses dietetic assessment, treatment and management of patients.
To act as a source of expertise on nutritional therapy to patients, general public, other health care professionals including medical staff and GPs.

What we'll need you to bring
1. Registered Dietitian with valid HCPC Registration
2. The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
3. Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
5. Excellent time management skills
6. Working knowledge of basic information technology
It would be great if you also have
7. Degree or post graduate diploma in Dietetics.
8. State Registration with Health Care Professions Council.
9. Evidence of further training/CPD in dietetic practice
10. Experience of training other staff groups on nutrition.
11. Evidence of involvement in projects/clinical effectiveness work.
12. Evidence of working or clinical placement within an Acute hospital setting
13. Interest and/or experience in student training.
14. Good knowledge of up-to-date dietetic practice.
15. Knowledge of audit, standard development and supporting change in practice with teams.
16. Knowledge of specialist dietetic interventions relevant to post.
17. Ability to prioritise caseload/work.
18. Flexible. Motivated, enthusiastic and forward thinking.
19. Skills in group work.
