Dryer Operative Artigarvan, County Tyrone Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited (The Group) is the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland. The Groups Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland. Applications are invited for the above position that will be based at our Artigarvan site. The Role Our team at Artigarvan are now seeking a Dryer Operative to join them on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to our Area Manager/Supervisor, the successful applicant will have responsibility for system efficiencies, operations of manufacturing equipment and the cleaning of production process equipment in line with Corporate, Quality and Health & Safety standards. Key responsibilities will include (Not limited to): Ensure that production operations are conducted in adherence to all company standards for hygiene, Health & Safety and work place cleanliness. Complete hourly checks of all equipment, set point monitoring and recording of relevant information. Conduct and assist maintenance with both planned & reactive maintenance, and breakdowns as and when required. Conduct post operational checks on all equipment after the process has been completed. Collect all samples and check components and raw materials and finished product in accordance with published SOPs. Complete all work instructions, production, quality, safety and hygiene logs accurately and in a timely manner. The Person Our team are seeking an individual that possesses proven experience of report writing and presenting information, who has the ability problem solve, work on their own initiative and record data. In addition, our Dryer Operative will have excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office.
