Our client, a Top 50 Accountancy Practice is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their Payroll team in their offices in Northampton.
Permanent full-time role with hybrid and flexible working options.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide payroll services to a portfolio of clients.
* Set up PAYE scheme with HMRC and cease schemes when needed.
* Act as primary contact with HMRC for all PAYE related matters.
* Calculating auto enrolment pension deductions and ensuring compliance.
* Uploading pension contributions and starters to appropriate pension portals.
* Submit HMRC RTI information, FPS and EPS ensuring deadlines are met.
* Preparation of P45s, P60s, Starter Declarations and other relevant forms as required.
About You
* Experience working with an accountancy firm or a business processing firm that handles payroll for clients.
* Strong IT skills with the ability to quickly learn new software packages.
* Highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Demonstrates a strong team spirit but also very effective working independently.
* A positive 'can do' attitude with a strong desire to learn and develop.
* Adaptable and driven, excelling in fast-moving workplaces.
* Proactive and resilient, comfortable in high-energy environments.
* Educated to A Level (or equivalent).
