Key Responsibilities
Reporting to Finance Director
Forecasting
o Leading the budgeting process for the entire Group.
o Introducing and managing the Latest Estimates/Outturns process.
o Collaborating with the Finance Director to prepare comprehensive Business Plans.
o Streamlining and enhancing manual processes through the effective use of current systems.
Analysis
o Collaborating with the Finance team to dissect the Management Accounts and identify key financial drivers.
o Partnering with procurement and other teams to uncover cost-saving opportunities and optimize processes.
o Engaging with operational teams to explain and challenge variances to budget.
Reporting
o Preparing insightful reports for Management and the Board, including budgets, business plans, and variance analyses.
o Contributing to management accounts by providing updated projections and detailed explanations.
Corporate Development
o Working closely with the Business and Corporate Development team on acquisitions and site purchases.
o Producing forecasts for acquisition targets, continuously updating them with the latest information.
o Analysing data to ask the right questions and understand the business better.
o Supporting the Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and deal evaluation processes.
o Ensuring smooth handover and clear communication with the Finance team post-acquisition.
Qualifications & Experience
* Fully qualified in a relevant professional field, such as accountancy.
* A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
