1. Work closely with the Director of Clinical Services, Hospital Director, Lead Consultant for Clinical Governance, and the MAC Chair in driving clinical excellence, quality, and the Clinical Governance Framework within the hospital.
2. Take an active role in ensuring compliance with all hospital regulatory requirements and implementation of the Patient Safety and Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).
3. Undertake incident analysis and identify barriers to good practice/areas of concern and liaise with Heads of Departments to develop remedial actions and support in embedding and maintaining good practice.
4. Display and promote excellent clinical leadership in all areas of the hospital and promote excellent customer service throughout the hospital, facilitating and coordinating corporate and local customer service initiatives while providing appropriate support to colleagues.
5. Provide and develop strong leadership for all aspects of the role, initiating optimal clinical standards, managing business objectives, and aspiring to be the leading private healthcare provider within the locality.
6. Promote and facilitate effective and timely lines of communication within the teams, building relationships with all customer groups, and effecting delivery of actions.
Who We're Looking For:
1. Registered with NMC or HCPC is desirable.
2. Relevant clinical qualification desirable; however, not essential if equivalent experience in quality improvement or clinical governance can be demonstrated.
3. Previous experience operating at a senior level.
4. Experience of undertaking clinical audits.
5. Experience of undertaking Root Cause Analysis.
6. Attended and obtained recent PSIRF training.
7. Quality Improvement (QI) or Project Management qualification/training.
8. Computer literate with a comprehensive understanding of Word and Excel and able to transfer data into charts with Excel and other programs.
9. Good facilitation and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability and experience of collating data, interpreting data accurately, report writing, and minute taking, demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
