Are you experienced in facilitating and delivering engaging learning and organisational development programmes to customers, colleagues, and managers?
We are seeking a Learning and Organisational Development (LOD) Advisor to join our vibrant LOD team at Platform Housing Group.
This is a part-time opportunity working 23 hours per week with cover required across Monday to Wednesday and attracts a part-time salary up to £22,913 per annum (depending on experience). We welcome you to discuss your preferred working pattern during the interview process.
We have several key essential projects which we are supporting, as well as objectives to help deliver our Colleague Strategy and a cultural transformation on the go, so we need to expand the LOD team. We are looking for inspirational people to help us set colleagues, teams, and the organisation up for success.
You will work within a strategic, future-focused, proactive, highly valued Learning & Organisational Development (LOD) Team with responsibility that includes enabling a culture of continuous learning, unlocking potential, managing talent, developing management and leadership capability, and embedding our values and behaviours into our Platform DNA.
This is a varied exciting role where you will support the Design & Delivery team, L&OD Business Partners, and Line Managers in delivering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, developing our people and talent as well helping us to build our journey and future of a great, safe, and compliant place to work.
Some Things That We Need From You
* Experience in facilitating and delivering learning in a face-to-face, blended, and digital environment as appropriate
* Experience in managing participation, attitudes, and behaviours to reach learning objectives
* Experience in building trust and sound relationships with customers/learners/colleagues
* Be a proficient communicator, who can listen effectively and converse at all levels professionally, can influence and negotiate, when necessary, can use various methods to communicate and does so actively
* Can develop successful business relationships across departments and understands customer experience in L&OD
* Able to represent L&OD as an agent of change and has own resilience to change
* Consultative and hands-on approach to developing and scheduling learning activities
Although this is a home-based role, we’re looking for someone who’s flexible and happy to travel when needed. You’ll typically visit our Group offices or other locations around two days a week to facilitate face-to-face training and support business needs. Ideally, you’ll live within a reasonable travelling distance of these offices.

Selection Process
We aim to hold interviews for this role at our Birmingham Business Park (B37 7YD) office during the week of 3rd February 25 and will contact you to arrange a time following shortlisting. You will also receive a presentation question in advance to prepare ahead of the interview.
