Job Description
As NDT Technician you will be tasked with the following:
* Ensuring the product quality of materials that are fabricated on the shop floor in a timely manner.
* Reviewing part prints, procedures and work instructions to complete testing.
* Setting up and performing non-destructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics: Positions parts between electrodes of magnetic testing equipment and activates switch to induce magnetic field that attracts and accumulates iron oxide particles at defective points.
* Coordinating with the Quality Manager on all applicable issues.
* Documenting reports and corrective/preventative actions.
* Ensuring that equipment operates correctly.
* Ensuring compliance to the process for the Control of Records and Document Control Process.
* Participating in problem-solving activities to mitigate the presence of defects identified.
* Setting up and calibrating non-destructive testing equipment.
The Successful Applicant
A successful NDT Technician should have:
* The ability to read and accurately interpret drawings/specifications.
* The ability to use Quality Instruments, i.e., Weld gauges, micrometers, steel ruler, etc.
* Worked in accordance with ISO9712 for VT/MT/PT, must hold - Active PCN, Squib Certificates.
* UK driving licence.
* Valid passport.

* An annual salary of £40,000 + Overtime.
* Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 15:30, Friday 07:00 - 12:00.
