A client based in Telford within the SME market specialising in finance management are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team, reporting into the Financial Controller on a 9 month contract covering maternity leave.

What will you do as an Accounts Assistant?
* Accounts Payable & Receivable, Sales & Purchase Ledger
* Reconciling customer & supplier accounts
* Processing Direct Debit mandates
* Credit Control, reviewing customer accounts regularly
* Respond to internal and external queries & enquiries
* Working closely with the Finance team
What do you need as an Accounts Assistant?
* Strong organisational skills & attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* System experience using Xero, Excel & Microsoft packages
* Strong analytical skills and problem solving
