Some of the machinery you will be working on as the Maintenance Engineer:
1. PLC's (Siemens S7)
2. Drives (Siemens)
3. Motors (AC/DC)
4. Sensors (Proximity, Photo cell, & Fibre Optic)
5. Induction Heating Units
6. Overhead Gantry Cranes (Morris, Granada)
7. Industrial Melting & Holding Furnaces (Gas & Electric)
8. Schumag M/C's (Drawing & Spinner Blocks)
9. Plastic Extrusion Machines
10. Conveyors/Roller Beds
11. Extrusion Presses
12. Casting Plant
13. Draw Benches
14. Brand New Refining Site
15. Spinning Machines

Experience required for the Maintenance Engineer:
1. Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) in an electrical discipline
2. At least 3 years' experience maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery as an electrically biased maintenance engineer
3. Good electrical competence - wire and fault find on 3-phase motors, knowledge of contactors, sensors, relays, etc.
4. PLC knowledge is desirable
